What Is It Used For and How

1. Incorporating into soil
For new beds or containers blend the biochar compost mixture evenly into the upper 10 to 15 cm of soil before planting
For established areas lightly loosen the soil and mix it into the top 15 to 20 cm to improve structure
Application rate use around 20 to 30 percent of the mixture by volume depending on current soil condition

2. Surface application
For existing plants spread a 1 to 2 cm layer around the base and across the root zone
For lawns apply a thin layer of about 1 cm over the surface to support gradual soil improvement

3. Potting mixes
